Design Approach
This primary bedroom redesign was all about quiet luxury and visual clarity. The client’s brief was clear: create a warm, uncluttered environment for winding down, with minimal décor and clean architecture. Every element was chosen to bring a sense of calm and cohesion, without sacrificing personality or style.
A soft neutral palette of layered beiges and warm woods sets the tone, accented by matte black fixtures for subtle contrast. Sculptural lighting and textural details—like the leather reading chair and framed abstract art—add sophistication without noise. Built-in shelves and considered styling bring function and beauty to the room’s reading corner, while the layout ensures that each zone feels balanced and intentional.
This space was designed to breathe—both visually and emotionally—through restraint, balance, and light.
Key Features
Thoughtfully restrained color palette in warm taupes and wood tones
Kuzco Lighting pendant fixture as a sculptural focal point
Reading nook with leather accent chair and custom shelving
Theodore Alexander nightstands for form-meets-function
Layered textures and soft Roman shades for a cozy, elevated finish

‘‘Working with Júlia was an amazing experience! Even though everything was done online, she understood exactly what I wanted for my master bedroom. Her modern design transformed the space into something both functional and stylish. The moodboard, layout, and shopping list made it super easy to bring everything to life. Highly recommend!’’
